Persija Jakarta concludes Thailand training camp with victories

Persija Jakarta has concluded its two-week training camp in Thailand with positive results ahead of the 2026/2027 Super League season. Head coach Shin Tae-yong expressed satisfaction with the team's performance, noting that the passing timing, tempo, and defensive coordination have improved significantly. During the camp, Persija secured victories in friendly matches, including a 2-1 win against Chiangrai United and a 2-1 win against Police Tero.

In player movements, Persija has facilitated several transfers. Young defender Dani Ibrohim has joined Deltras FC on loan to gain professional playing time. Additionally, striker Mauro Zijlstra has left the club to join Arema FC, stating he sought more regular playing opportunities in the top tier.

Coach Shin Tae-yong emphasized that while the team's chemistry and ball distribution are progressing well, the focus must now shift to maintaining physical conditioning and stamina to ensure the squad can compete effectively for the full 90 minutes.
