PSS Sleman eyes new striker, defender and midfielder for 2026/27 season

Indonesian club PSS Sleman continues recruiting players to strengthen its squad for the 2026/27 BRI Super League. Coach Pieter Huistra said the team is still missing key personnel and is targeting both local and foreign talent for the striker, defender and defensive‑midfield positions. He noted that about 10‑12 players are expected to join, including returning members such as Riko and Cleberson, as well as several newly signed prospects.

During the squad’s first training session, Huistra observed that many players are still adapting but the programme is proceeding fully. He highlighted the integration of youth academy players and stressed that cohesion and teamwork are as vital as individual quality for achieving the club’s objectives.
