PSS Sleman finalizes preparations for Super League season

PSS Sleman is entering the final stages of preparation for the 2026/2027 Super League season. Head coach Pieter Huistra indicated that the team may participate in one final friendly match, potentially against Liga 2 side Persiku Kudus, to ensure all players receive playing time before the official competition begins.

The squad is showing positive physical trends, with several players returning to full training after recovering from injuries. Team Manager Agus Purwoko noted that new players and foreign recruits are adapting quickly and building chemistry with the existing squad.

Among the key developments is the return of winger Melvyn Lorenzen to training sessions at Pakembinangun Field.
