Huistra highlighted Persik Kediri’s strong team cohesion and defensive solidity as primary challenges, noting that the opponent has conceded only three goals in five matches this season. To prepare, the coaching staff has conducted detailed observations of Persik’s playing style.

To optimize player recovery and minimize travel fatigue, PSS Sleman has opted to remain in Surabaya rather than returning to Sleman immediately following their recent match against Persebaya Surabaya.
