PSS Sleman prepares for Super League opener against Bali United

PSS Sleman coach Pieter Huistra has finalized the core framework of his starting lineup ahead of the 2026-2027 BRI Super League season. The team enters the new season following a dominant 6-1 preseason victory against Persiku Kudus at Maguwoharjo Stadium.

During the preseason preparations, Huistra focused on player synergy, tactical understanding, and positional experimentation. He noted that the recent matches helped clarify which players perform best together and which positions suit specific individuals. The coach emphasized that building chemistry is a crucial process that cannot be achieved instantly.

PSS Sleman is scheduled to face Bali United in their opening match of the league on Friday, September 4, at the Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar.
