PSS Sleman receives Rp140 million fan bonus after runner‑up finish in Liga 2 final

On 9 May 2026, PSS Sleman played the Pegadaian Championship 2025/2026 final at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman. The match ended 2‑2 after extra time and PSS lost 3‑4 on penalties to Garudayaksa FC, finishing as runner‑up.

Brazilian striker Gustavo Tocantins, who scored in the 60th minute and again in injury time, posted a season record of 24 goals and 11 assists in 25 games and was named the tournament’s best player, but his penalty was saved in the shoot‑out.

Following the season, the supporters’ group Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) raised and distributed a total of Rp140 million as a bonus for players and officials. Rp100 million was transferred to manager Kim Jeffrey Kurniawan, and Rp40 million worth of club merchandise was handed to the squad. The contribution was framed as appreciation for the team’s successful promotion to Indonesia’s top‑flight Liga 1 for 2026/2027.
