PSV Eindhoven failed to sign Ladislav Krejci from Wolves

PSV Eindhoven attempted to sign Czech defender Ladislav Krejci from Wolverhampton Wanderers during the final stages of the transfer window, but the move was rejected by the English club.

According to reports from the Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV sought to bolster their defense following the loan acquisition of Lutsharel Geertruida from RB Leipzig. Krejci, valued at approximately 22 million euros, was identified as a versatile target capable of playing as both a central defender and a defensive midfielder.

The 27-year-old international, who recently captained the Czech Republic national team, had previously played for Sparta Prague and Girona FC. Despite renewed interest in the closing days of the window, Wolverhampton Wanderers declined to facilitate a transfer.
