Psychoanalysts launch ‘Os Ciúmes’ book in Ipanema

Psychoanalysts Maria Helena Carneiro da Cunha and Renata Salgado held a book signing for their work, ‘Os Ciúmes’, at Livraria da Travessa in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. The event brought together various figures from the Rio cultural scene, including writers, artists, journalists, and filmmakers.

The book, published by Editora 7Letras, is the result of a decade-long project. It combines psychoanalysis and literature by featuring reflections from twelve different intellectuals and artists regarding their personal relationships with jealousy. The work aims to investigate the universal nature of the emotion through research and active listening.
