Psychology of trust between humans and artificial intelligence

Research into the psychology of trust reveals complex dynamics between humans and artificial intelligence. Many individuals exhibit a “human premium,” a bias where they inherently trust humans more than AI. This is often accompanied by an “AI penalty,” where AI is perceived as less trustworthy than human counterparts.
