Psyren receives anime revival after 16 years

The manga series Psyren, originally published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, is receiving an anime revival for the Fall 2026 season. The series was previously cancelled in 2010 after 100 chapters.

Produced by Satelight and directed by Katsumi Ono, the new adaptation features character designs by Akira Okuma and scripts by Shin Yoshida. The opening theme, ‘WARNING!!’, is performed by CLAN QUEEN, while the ending theme, ‘Icarus’, is performed by Who-ya Extended.

Outside of Japan, the series is available for streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll. An English dub is currently planned, though specific release details have not been confirmed.
