PT Abadi Nusantara Hijau Investama Tbk plans nickel expansion

PT Abadi Nusantara Hijau Investama Tbk (PACK), a company affiliated with businessman Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad (Haji Isam), has announced plans to expand its nickel ore production capacity through upcoming corporate actions.

The company’s strategy involves three main phases: expanding upstream nickel production in the short term, building an integrated business model from upstream to downstream in the medium term, and diversifying into other mineral businesses in the long term. These moves aim to create operational synergies and increase company value, potentially positioning PACK as a competitor to established Indonesian nickel players such as PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO).

In terms of financial performance, PACK reported a net profit of Rp190.7 billion as of June 30, 2026. While Haji Isam is a significant minority shareholder with a 21.12% stake acquired in May 2026, management clarified that he is not the controlling shareholder.
