PT Danau Winata Indah CEO detained in Rp100 billion ASABRI corruption case

The Bali High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati Bali) has officially named SLD, the President Director of PT Danau Winata Indah, as a suspect in a corruption case involving PT ASABRI (Persero). SLD has been detained and transferred to the Kerobokan Prison in Badung, Bali.

The investigation concerns the alleged corruption surrounding the purchase of 125 condotels by PT ASABRI, valued at approximately Rp100 billion. Prosecutors stated that the case originated from a 2007 land lease agreement between the Bali Provincial Government and PT Danau Winata Indah regarding assets in Jimbaran, Kuta Selatan. While the land was intended for a shopping center, investigators found that the company failed to utilize the land for its designated purpose or the development of the condotels as agreed.
