PT INKA ships 120 wagons to New Zealand for UGL order

PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero), known as INKA, has shipped 120 units of 40-foot Container Flat Top Wagons to New Zealand. This shipment is part of a larger order from the Australian company UGL.

With this latest delivery, INKA has fulfilled 250 units, or approximately 73.5 percent, of the current 340-unit project for UGL. The total order consists of 290 units of 40-foot wagons and 50 units of 50-foot wagons. The remaining 90 units are scheduled for shipment in November 2026.

The wagons were dispatched from the Jamrud Nilam Mirah and Teluk Lamong terminals in Surabaya, managed by PT Pelindo Multi Terminal. This collaboration marks the fourth contract for Container Flat Top Wagons between INKA and UGL since 2021, with INKA having delivered a total of 1,294 out of 1,504 units ordered by UGL to date. Additionally, a separate order for 50 locomotive platforms for the Australian market is scheduled for delivery through 2027.
