PT Palma Pertiwi Makmur denies receiving Rp350 billion in state funds
PT Palma Pertiwi Makmur (PPM) has held a press conference to deny allegations regarding its funding sources and unauthorized regional activities. Management clarified that the company is a purely private entity operating in the national food sovereignty and energy sectors.
Haryanto Mangundihardjo, Head of Corporate Legal at PPM, explicitly refuted claims that the company received Rp350 billion from the State Budget (APBN). He emphasized that all company investments are sourced from private funds and do not involve government allocations.
Additionally, the company addressed reports of unauthorized money collection from the public and third parties in various regions, including West Sumatra. Management stated that these actions were carried out by regional partners acting outside their authority and the company’s standard operating procedures. PPM clarified that its work agreements are limited to specific tasks, such as infrastructure development, and partners are not authorized to collect payments on behalf of the company.
