PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim reports 16% growth in vessel visits

PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (PJM) Wilayah 2 recorded a 16% year-on-year increase in vessel visits through September 2026, exceeding its budget target with a 117% realization. This performance makes Wilayah 2 the primary contributor to the company's growth and its highest-performing operational region.

In addition to vessel visits, the total gross tonnage (GT) of vessels served in Wilayah 2 grew by 8% year-on-year, reaching 103% of the target. Pilotage service production also rose by 7% year-on-year, achieving 105% of the target. Growth was observed across several service units, including Panjang, Pontianak, Tanjung Pandan, Tanjung Priok, Cirebon, Palembang, and Jambi.

The increase was driven by higher activity at general docks and Terminals for Self-Interest (TUKS), involving fuel tankers, dry bulk, gas, containers, roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro), and passenger ships. Nationally, PJM's total vessel visits grew by 2.8% year-on-year, reaching 104% of the target.
