PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk announces Rp150 billion share buyback

PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA) has announced a plan to conduct a share buyback with a maximum value of Rp150 billion. The corporate action is scheduled to begin on August 20, 2026, and will run until November 19, 2026.

According to Corporate Secretary Marina Eka Amalia, the buyback is a strategic move intended to support long-term growth, stabilize share prices, and strengthen market confidence amidst significant capital market fluctuations. The company stated that the buyback will be funded using internal cash reserves and is not sourced from loans or initial public offerings.

The total number of shares repurchased will not exceed 20 percent of the company's paid-up capital. Prodia noted that the funds used are sufficient and will not materially impact the company's ability to meet its financial obligations or its ongoing operations. The repurchased shares will be held as treasury stock for a maximum of three years following the conclusion of the buyback period.
