PT Semen Padang delivers 8,000 L of clean water to Lambung Bukik residents

PT Semen Padang supplied 8,000 liters of clean water to households in RW 01 and RW 02 of the Lambung Bukik neighbourhood, Pauh district, Padang city, West Sumatra. The aid was provided through the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme after the community has faced prolonged water shortages following a recent galodo disaster. A tank truck from the mining department was used to distribute the water directly to families.

Company secretary Win Bernadino said the distribution reflects the firm’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility, emphasizing rapid response when basic needs are threatened. Local RW chair Rabain thanked PT Semen Padang, noting that the water deliveries greatly eased daily life for residents still struggling with limited water supply.
