PT Sinaloa opens registration for municipal and district affiliation coordinators

The Labor Party (PT) in Sinaloa has formally launched the registration process for municipal and district affiliation coordinators across the state. This step is a precursor to internal leadership selections, which the party intends to conduct through surveys in the coming weeks.

Fernando García, the PT national political commissioner for Sinaloa, announced the process and expressed support for Jesús Ibarra and Ivanjov Valenzuela as candidates for affiliation coordinators in the municipality of Culiacán. García noted that while the party's process follows a logic similar to its allies, such as Morena, the PT maintains its own independent internal procedures.

To ensure transparency in measuring public support, García stated that the party will utilize surveys and has the option to request a mirror survey if results are contested.
