PT Timah provides free healthcare for South Bangka fire victims

PT Timah (Persero) Tbk has established a free health post to assist victims of a major fire in Dusun Serdang, South Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands. The fire, which occurred on October 10, 2026, destroyed 348 homes, affecting approximately 1,578 residents.

In addition to medical services, PT Timah has provided four portable toilet units at the evacuation center located at SD Negeri 7 Simpang Rimba to help residents meet basic needs. The company is coordinating with local government authorities to accelerate post-fire recovery efforts in the region.
