Pétanque events held in Toulouse and Bagnols-sur-Cèze

Various pétanque events are taking place in France, ranging from festive amateur gatherings to high-level national competitions.

In Toulouse, the fourth edition of Pétanque Days is scheduled for September 4–6, 2026, at Esplanade Alain Savary. Organized by MoovEvents and La Pétanque des Copains, the event is designed as a popular festival rather than a strict professional tournament. It features an open concept for all skill levels, including families and beginners, accompanied by DJ sets and food trucks to create a festive atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the 11th National de Pétanque de Bagnols-sur-Cèze recently concluded at the Jean-Giono boulodrome. This competition, part of the National Top 1000 circuit, featured 272 teams and a 15,000 euro prize pool. The event introduced technological innovations, including a camera-equipped honor square and microphones for players to allow for live broadcasting via the new media outlet L’équipe à Polo. The triplet Cotillas-Bauer-Spadaro was crowned the winner.
