Péter Magyar launches autumn national tour in Veszprém
Péter Magyar, leader of the Tisza Party, has launched his autumn national tour, beginning with an event in Veszprém. During the gathering, Magyar discussed the reorganization of the ‘Tisza islands’ and the upcoming leadership selection process. Approximately 1,000 individuals have applied for county coordinator and national presidential positions within the party structure, with the final selection to be decided by the members.
Magyar emphasized the need for political dialogue and reconciliation among Hungarian citizens, stating that while accountability for crimes and the recovery of stolen assets remain necessary, ordinary citizens must find ways to communicate and cooperate again. Ágnes Forsthoffer, Speaker of the National Assembly, accompanied Magyar to the event and noted that a significant achievement of recent times is that the voices of the Hungarian people have become free and audible.
The party continues to build its organizational structure, focusing on its network of over 2,200 ‘Tisza islands’ and approximately 50,000 members, utilizing digital tools like the ‘Tisza Világ’ application to manage its growth.
