Péter Magyar shows renovated parliamentary office

Prime Minister Péter Magyar has shared a look inside his renovated office and living quarters within the Hungarian Parliament Building. The space, which formerly belonged to János Lázár, has been redecorated according to the Prime Minister's personal preferences.

During a filmed day following his October 23 speech, Magyar highlighted several sentimental items, including antique furniture from his grandparents' house. These include a family chest and a writing desk once owned by his grandfather, the lawyer Dr. Pál Erőss. Magyar noted that the desk's lion-shaped legs had previously been shortened to accommodate a shorter court president.

The residence also includes a rest area with a pull-out bed and a bathroom. From his terrace, the Prime Minister pointed out locations significant to his childhood, such as his former nursery, kindergarten, and the Szemere Street primary school.
