Péter Takács involved in confrontation at beach

Fidesz Member of Parliament Péter Takács reported a verbal and physical confrontation with a man at a beach while he was with his children. According to Takács, the man insulted him, called him a "criminal," and repeatedly used the slogan "handcuffs, handcuffs, prison, prison."

During the incident, the man allegedly attempted to snatch the politician's phone as Takács was recording the interaction. Takács stated on Facebook that he has filed a police report regarding the incident. He also noted that he obscured the man's face in the video to protect the man's children from online harassment, noting that both sets of children were frightened by the altercation.

This is not the first high-profile verbal conflict for the politician. In April, Takács was involved in a heated exchange with a citizen questioning his brother-in-law's involvement in a state ventilator business, to which the politician responded with an insult.
