PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan denies reports of committee sidelining

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has dismissed reports claiming the party’s core and political committees are being sidelined in decision-making processes. He described such claims as baseless and misleading, asserting that all party decisions continue to be made by these committees and the parliamentary party.

In a separate development, imprisoned PTI leaders, including Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Dr. Yasmin Rashid, issued a letter to the party leadership urging unity and patience. The incarcerated leaders expressed solidarity with current leadership and emphasized the importance of following official party policy rather than reacting to media rumors. They specifically called for prioritizing the release of Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court in Lahore has adjourned post-arrest bail hearings for Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Shah Mahmood Qureshi until October 31. The delay occurred after the prosecution failed to submit necessary case records regarding allegations related to the May 9 incidents.
