Pátio Higienópolis hosts pet adoption fair in São Paulo

Shopping Pátio Higienópolis will host a pet adoption fair on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is organized in partnership with the NGO Amigos de São Francisco to promote the responsible adoption of dogs and cats.

To facilitate the process, the NGO requires interested parties to be at least 18 years old and undergo a preliminary interview to ensure compatibility between the tutor and the animal. Applicants must also provide a photo or video of the living environment to verify housing conditions. An adoption fee of R$200 is required to help cover the NGO's animal care costs.

Founded in 2012, Amigos de São Francisco has helped find homes for more than 2,000 animals to protect them from abandonment and cruelty.
