Pâtisserie Francis celebrates 15 years in high-end bakery market

Pâtisserie Francis, a high-end bakery located in Dazhi, Taipei, has celebrated 15 years of operation. Founded in 2011 by pastry chef Chang Li-wen, the brand specializes in blending French pastry techniques with Taiwanese ingredients.

The business is a family-run enterprise involving Chang Li-wen, who manages pastry creation, her sister Chang Wen-yu, who oversees marketing and sustainability, and their mother, Donna, who serves as the brand’s flavor expert. The company’s signature Donna cake has achieved significant commercial success, with annual turnover approaching 100 million TWD.

For the Mid-Autumn Festival, the bakery has launched a new series of gift boxes themed ‘Golden Autumn Abundance,’ inspired by French manor aesthetics. The collection includes award-winning truffle nougat, French pineapple cakes, and pastries filled with local Taiwanese fruits.
