PTPN III outlines phased transformation strategy for sustainable value
Denaldy Mulino Mauna, President Director of the state-owned plantation holding company PTPN III (Persero), has outlined a multi-stage strategic transformation aimed at creating sustainable value. Speaking at a public lecture at Universitas Padjadjaran in Jatinangor, Mauna detailed a process that begins with a “surviving” phase to ensure operational continuity during periods of financial pressure or loss.
Once stability is achieved, the company moves into the “fix the fundamental” stage, which focuses on repairing business foundations and processes to support long-term growth. This strategy emphasizes the balance of “people, profit, and planet.”
In addition to its traditional commodities such as palm oil, rubber, sugarcane, and coffee, PTPN III is executing a strategic mandate to support food and energy security. This includes the development of other food commodities, such as garlic, soybeans, and cassava.
