PTPP secures Rp400 billion pier construction contract from Pupuk Kaltim

PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) has been awarded an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract valued at Rp400 billion by PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim). The project involves the construction of Pier 11 located at the Tursina Pier industrial area in Bontang, East Kalimantan.

The scope of work includes the development of a multipurpose pier, supporting structures, a conveyor system, and the installation of mobile ship loader equipment. The facility is designed to accommodate bulk material carriers with a capacity of up to 40,000 Deadweight Tonnage (DWT). This infrastructure aims to optimize large-scale vessel loading and unloading operations, facilitating material distribution within the Pupuk Kaltim industrial zone and supporting national Soda Ash requirements.

The project is scheduled to span 570 calendar days, beginning from September 18, 2026.
