PTTK organizes cultural and historical excursions in Poland
Various PTTK (Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society) branches have organized cultural excursions in Poland.
In Gosławice, a joint trip by the Nasze Gosławice Association and PTTK Konin commemorates the 600th anniversary of the death of Bishop Andrzej Łaskarz. The itinerary includes a visit to the historic Gosławice cemetery, a walk by Lake Gosławskie, and a tour of the District Museum in Konin. The event features a lecture by Professor Dariusz Karczewski regarding the bishop’s role in the Church and politics.
Additionally, a PTTK excursion is scheduled for October 18, 2026, to Żywiec. The tour includes visits to the Castle Park, the Old Castle housing the Municipal Museum, and the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The program concludes with a visit to the Żywiec Brewery to learn about local brewing traditions and participate in a tasting.
