PTTK Sanok announces summer excursion series finale

The PTTK ‘Ziemia Sanocka’ branch in Sanok, along with the PTTK Guide Circle, has announced the grand finale of its summer excursion series, ‘W niedzielę za miasto z przewodnikiem PTTK’. Scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026, the event features three distinct types of excursions: cycling, hiking, and kayaking.

The cycling route, led by guide Wiesław Sternik, covers approximately 45 km through the scenic valleys of the San, Osława, Młynówka, and Niebieszczanka rivers. The hiking excursion, led by Stanisław Sieradzki, includes a trip from Sanok to Bukowsko, followed by a walk through Góra Kobietek and Wyższylas to Zboiska.

All participants will gather in the Bieszczady Mountains at the Agnieszka and Tadeusz Rolnik Ecological Farm for a ceremonial conclusion to the summer season. The gathering will include live music and a meal featuring traditional dishes such as żurek and bigos.
