Ptuj outdoor cinema attracts 2,500 viewers and raises charity funds

The seventeenth edition of the ‘Kino brez stropa’ (Cinema Without a Roof) event, held at the Ptuj Castle courtyard from August 11 to 16, attracted 2,476 spectators.

Organized by Mestni kino Ptuj and the Pokrajinski muzej Ptuj-Ormož, the festival focused on the theme of hope. While there was no admission fee, attendees provided voluntary donations to support medical treatment for a boy named Tea. The event raised a total of 5,314.23 EUR for this cause.

The most attended screening was the Saturday showing of ‘Song Sung Blue’, which drew 498 viewers. Organizers have already announced plans for the next edition, scheduled for August 10–15, 2027.
