PTWP Group reinstates prestigious Polish energy sector awards

The PTWP Group has reinstated the ‘Nowy Impuls’ and ‘Człowiek z energią’ awards during the Energy Days Awards gala in Katowice. These honors, which had been on hiatus for several years, recognize significant projects and individuals driving the transformation of the Polish energy sector.

The ‘Nowy Impuls’ award, which highlights investments and technologies introducing new qualities to the industry, was presented to Baltic Power for its offshore wind farm project, Gaz-System for its FSRU investment, and PGE for its energy storage project in Żarnowiec.

The ‘Człowiek z energią’ award was granted to Joanna Maćkowiak-Pandera for her decade-long contribution to Poland’s energy transition. Industry leaders noted that the awards come at a critical time as the sector moves from the planning stages to the implementation of offshore wind, energy storage, and grid modernization.
