Páty water supply suspended due to regional pipe burst
A major pipe burst on regional water mains between Zsámbék and Mány has caused a temporary suspension of drinking water services in Páty and several other settlements in the Zsámbék Basin.
Dabas és Környéke Vízügyi Kft. (DAKÖV) reported that the fault was identified during the night and repair crews are working to resolve the issue. While repairs are expected to be completed by late morning, the company noted that refilling the regional system and local reservoirs will take additional time. Consequently, water service in Páty is anticipated to be restored by the early afternoon.
Local representative Andrea Bujdosó indicated that residents in Zsámbék, Perbál, Tök, Budajenő, and Telke should also expect water shortages or reduced pressure. DAKÖV has requested that residents postpone non-essential, high-volume water usage and has established temporary water collection points in Páty to assist affected households.
