PUBG MOBILE and Bahçeşehir University launch game design course

PUBG MOBILE and Bahçeşehir University (BAU) have launched a new collaborative academic course titled ‘PUBG MOBILE Game Design Practices’. Integrated into the university's official curriculum at the Istanbul Galata Campus, the 12-week program aims to provide students with practical experience in game development.

During the course, 24 participating students will use the World of Wonder (WOW) Editor Pro platform to design and publish at least three game maps. The platform utilizes AI-supported features and visual programming tools to allow for various game modes, ranging from competitive play to parkour. Students will receive guidance from industry professionals, including game designers and publishing experts from the PUBG MOBILE development team.

To support emerging talent, a $200,000 fund has been established to assist game development ventures. While the program is part of the university's curriculum, the fund is available to other game studios that meet the application requirements, encouraging students to potentially launch their own studios.
