Public administration updates in Senegal and DR Congo
In Senegal, the Direction de l’Apprentissage held a formal handover ceremony as Souléye Kane stepped down to be succeeded by Cheikh Tidiane Koundoul. The transition, overseen by officials from the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, aims to ensure administrative continuity in a sector vital for youth employability and skill development.
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service Jean-Pierre Lihau concluded a continuous training session for high-ranking public officials. Organized by the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA) and funded by the Fonds de Formation Continue (Fonds FORCO), the program focused on human resources management, transformational leadership, and public policy implementation to improve administrative performance and service delivery.
