Public assistance services available for drivers in BiH and legal aid in Croatia

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, drivers with vehicles registered in the Federation of BiH are entitled to specific free roadside assistance services provided by BiHAMK. According to BiHAMK, motorists can access up to three services per year on public roads, including two technical interventions for minor breakdowns and one free vehicle transport to a location within 10 kilometers if the repair cannot be completed on-site. BiHAMK manages a fleet of 60 patrol vehicles and over 120 transport trucks, handling approximately 50,000 technical interventions annually.

In Croatia, the Ministry of Justice, Administration and Digital Transformation has released information regarding free legal aid for citizens in Osijek-Baranja County. This assistance is intended for individuals who, due to their financial situation and meeting specific legal criteria, cannot afford legal costs. Citizens can seek guidance from competent administrative authorities, authorized associations, or the Legal Clinic of the Faculty of Law in Osijek to help protect their legal interests.
