Various health organizations and government agencies across Latin America and Spain are launching initiatives for Pink October to promote breast cancer awareness and early detection.

In Entre Ríos, the Ministry of Health is intensifying awareness activities through the Provincial Cancer Institute. Other regional efforts include specialized mammography and Pap smear schedules in various municipal hospitals.

In Brazil, health units in Pomerode are providing special weekend services for cervical and breast cancer screenings. In Mexico, the DIF Tamaulipas has launched the ‘Observa, Toca y Acciona’ campaign, offering free mammographies, iBreast Exams, and Pap smears through October.

In the Dominican Republic, the CIMAT center has introduced the ‘Alerta Rosa’ campaign, providing mammographies without co-payments and discounts on tumor marker laboratory tests.
