Public health initiatives scheduled in Tucumán and Young

In Tucumán, Argentina, the Ministry of Public Health is organizing a flu vaccination drive this Saturday, October 10. The event will take place from 9:30 to 12:30 at Peatonal Muñecas in San Miguel de Tucumán. In the event of rain, the location will move to the Vacunatorio de la Familia on Mate de Luna 1901. The campaign targets high-risk groups, including adults over 65, pregnant women, children aged 6 to 24 months, and individuals with underlying health conditions. Additionally, pregnant women between 32 and 36 weeks may receive the respiratory syncytial virus vaccine.

In Young, Uruguay, the Center for Attention and Development of Young (CADY) is hosting an equine therapy encounter this Saturday, October 10. The event will be held from 9:00 to 17:00 at the Gauchos Unidos arena. To assist participants, a special electric bus service will provide round-trip transportation between various points in the city and the event location.
