Public health services mark milestones in Formosa and Achiras

The El Pucú health center in Formosa celebrated its 16th anniversary on August 19. Since its inauguration by Governor Gildo Insfrán in 2010, the facility has expanded its services, personnel, and equipment to provide comprehensive care to the southern zone of the capital city and surrounding neighborhoods such as San Juan Bautista and Laura Vicuña.

In Achiras, municipal health authorities conducted community medical operations during August. The ophthalmology campaign, titled ‘Ver para ser libres’, provided 177 diagnostic consultations and distributed 111 free pairs of glasses to children and young people. Additionally, a vaccination campaign updated immunization schedules for infants, pregnant women, and seniors, including tetanus and influenza doses.
