Public job openings launched in Brazil's Cariri region
The municipality of Taperoá in the Cariri area of Paraíba announced a selection process for 20 volunteer‑type positions as caregiver, alfabetizador or school support staff. Applicants must have primary or secondary education, receive a monthly stipend of up to R$1,416 plus transport allowance, and apply online between 10 and 19 July 2026.
In the neighboring state of Ceará, the Legislative Assembly (Alece) reopened a public contest to fill 200 immediate vacancies and create a reserve list across fields such as data analysis, archival work, audiovisual, law, pedagogy and journalism, with salaries of R$6,083.30 for graduates and R$3,037.91 for secondary‑level candidates. Meanwhile, the Universidade Regional do Cariri (Urca) issued a separate contest for 25 permanent professor roles, with salaries ranging from R$3,685 to R$14,486, applications opening on 22 July and closing 30 days later.
