Public safety and utility incidents reported in Kahramanmaraş and Kocaeli

Various public safety and utility incidents have been reported across Turkish provinces. In Kahramanmaraş, law enforcement conducted weekly operations resulting in 24 arrests for various crimes, including narcotics and traffic violations. Additionally, a forest fire broke out in the Türkoğlu district, prompting a response from 70 personnel using helicopters and ground vehicles. The city also experienced water outages in the Dulkadiroğlu and Onikişubat districts, affecting several neighborhoods.

In Kocaeli, the Kocaeli Coastline Water Accident Prevention Center (KOSKEM) reported rescuing 27 people from drowning between August 31 and September 6, bringing their seasonal total to 527 rescues.
