Public sector employment and municipal compensation updates in Poland

Public sector recruitment and municipal compensation updates have been reported in different regions of Poland. In the Łódź Voivodeship, several state institutions, including the Łódź Tax Administration Chamber, are seeking new employees. Positions such as clerks in tax offices in Pabianice, Wieruszów, and Łowicz offer gross salaries of approximately 6,890 PLN. Notably, some of these roles require only a secondary education rather than university degrees.

In Racibórz, the City Council has passed a resolution to update the monetary equivalents for volunteer firefighters (OSP). Rescue firefighters will receive 28 PLN per hour of participation in rescue operations, while training sessions will be compensated at 14 PLN per hour. Candidates for firefighter positions will receive 12 PLN per hour for training. The new rates follow mandatory biennial reviews required by law.
