Public Service Institute of Nigeria partners with Renaissance Africa Energy
The Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) has partnered with Renaissance Africa Energy Company Ltd. to conduct seminars aimed at enhancing the capacity of public servants and preparing them for retirement.
One aspect of the collaboration focuses on retirement planning, urging senior officials to prepare several years before leaving service to ensure a productive life after their careers. PSIN aims to develop a process where planning begins four to five years prior to retirement.
Additionally, the partnership seeks to improve service delivery within Nigeria’s oil and gas sector. A seminar held in Abuja addressed how policy decisions and official responsibilities impact oil and gas production, economic growth, and national development goals. Renaissance Africa Energy expressed ambitions to expand Nigeria’s domestic and export gas markets, targeting significant increases in gas supply by 2030 to support industrialization and employment.
