Public service recruitment announcements in São Paulo

The municipality of Piedade, located in the interior of São Paulo, has released a new public service exam notice. The recruitment process offers 20 immediate vacancies across various education levels, including incomplete fundamental, complete fundamental, medium, and higher education. Positions cover administrative, operational, education, and health sectors, with initial salaries ranging from R$ 1,621.00 to R$ 17,397.46, plus a monthly food allowance of R$ 600.00.

Applications for the Piedade positions are open until November 9, organized by the Instituto de Gestão de Cidades (IGECS). Objective exams are scheduled for November 29, 2026.

Separately, the Public Defender's Office of the State of São Paulo (DPE SP) has announced a competition for 70 Public Defender positions. The role offers an initial salary of R$ 29,716.00. Candidates must hold a Law degree and demonstrate at least three years of legal activity. The selection process includes reservation policies, such as 30% of vacancies for Black and Indigenous people, 5% for people with disabilities, and 2% for transgender individuals. Registration begins October 13, 2026, via the Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC), with the first exam set for January 10, 2027.
