Public space renovations underway in Corrientes and Salta

In Corrientes, Argentina, the municipality is finalizing the construction of a new space for the Domingo Faustino Sarmiento monument in Parque Mitre. The project, which is in its final structural phase, aims to revitalize public spaces. The inauguration is scheduled for September 11, marking the anniversary of the former president's death. The renovation includes landscaping with ornamental flowers and new paths. This follows previous upgrades to the park, such as new children's play areas, calisthenics equipment, and improved lighting.

In Salta, the Parque Lineal del Peregrino has been officially inaugurated on Banchik Avenue. Part of the ‘Caminos del Milagro’ project, the park honors the pilgrims who travel to the city for the celebrations of the Señor and la Virgen del Milagro. The space currently features six sculptures by artist Viviana Ovalle, with four more planned for future installation. The initiative seeks to preserve local religious traditions and provide year-round cultural spaces for residents and tourists.
