Public transport adjustments reported in Ribeirão Preto and on Line 7-Rubi
Public transportation services in Brazil are undergoing adjustments. In Ribeirão Preto, three bus lines are implementing changes starting Monday, August 24. Line 148 (Jardim Botânico/Alto do Ipirang) will follow a new route via Rua Eugênio Rocha Filho, Cav. Torquato Rizzi, Paschoal Bardaro, and Avenida Wladimir Meirelles Ferreira. Line 401 (Vila Carvalho) is altering its route from the center to the neighborhood, specifically near Avenida Thomaz Alberto Whately. Additionally, Line 923 (Perimetral Leste) will see changes to its weekday schedule.
In the rail sector, modernization works on Line 7-Rubi forced operational changes between Botujuru and Campo Limpo Paulista. Passengers were required to use a single track, necessitating boarding and disembarking from the same platform. Furthermore, a transfer was required at Francisco Morato. Reports indicated that the concessionaire TIC Trens provided outdated information on its website, causing confusion regarding whether the interventions were active for the current day.
