In areas like Florencio Varela, residents have experienced multi-day power outages, highlighting a disconnect between the high energy demands of modern electric bus charging infrastructure and the reliability of the existing power grid.

In Santiago, Dominican Republic, the Santiago Cable Car project shows a significant gap between installed capacity and actual usage. Despite an investment of over RD$6,544 million for the first section, the system has reported an average of approximately 1,700 daily passengers. This represents only about 2.7% of the system's announced daily capacity of 64,000 passengers, suggesting a mismatch between the infrastructure's scale and current urban demand.
