Public transport challenges reported in Spain and Peru

In Spain, a visually impaired commuter, Cristóbal Amaro López, has highlighted the difficulties faced by people with disabilities in bus stations. He reports that queues often obstruct tactile guidance paths intended for safe navigation, leading to physical obstacles and confrontations with other passengers.

In Peru, a study by Insight Hunting for RadioBus regarding public transport in Lima reveals that 7.5 million people use formal transport services. The study indicates that 88.5% of users identify traffic as a primary difficulty, while 53% experience stress or anxiety during commutes. To cope with boredom and long travel times, 78.4% of passengers listen to music or podcasts, and 65.2% use social media.
