In Medellín, Metro de Medellín's Line A resumed full commercial service between Niquía and La Estrella after a six-hour disruption. The delay began around 4:15 a.m. when a maintenance vehicle became immobilized on the tracks between the Hospital and Prado stations. To clear the line, specialists used a second train to tow the heavy machinery. During the contingency, the system operated in two separate loops and utilized a bus continuity plan to assist commuters.
