Public Voices Forum held in Budva to discuss EU integration

The Public Voices Forum was held in Budva, Montenegro, to address regional cooperation, open dialogue, and effective public communication regarding European integration and reform processes. Organized by the Ministry of European Affairs in partnership with the European Union and the Government of Germany, this was the first forum of its kind held within the framework of the Berlin Process during Montenegro’s presidency of the initiative.

The two-day event brought together media professionals, public communication experts, regional organization representatives, and political leaders. Participants discussed methods to present EU integration and regional cooperation results to citizens in a clearer and more accessible manner.

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić participated in a discussion on communicating European expansion, emphasizing the need for two-way communication and involving citizens in decision-making processes. He noted that the success of reforms should be measured by the tangible changes citizens experience in their daily lives, rather than just by adopted laws and fulfilled obligations.
